Tobermory
Tobermory is the 'capital' of Mull and still has the delightful colourful houses seen in the children's programme Balamory. It also has a distillery, The Tobermory Chocolate Shop, cafes, restaurants, post office, shops and is also a base for seal and whale watching boat trips.

Shops
There are 4 Spar Shops on the island; one at Craignure just by the ferry; another in Salen, the third in Tobermory and the fourth in Bunessan. Other shops include The Ferry Shop in Fionnphort and a Co-op in Tobermory.
Oban has a Tesco, Co-op, Aldi, Farmfoods supermarkets for you to shop before you catch the ferry.
Petrol / Diesel
Petrol can be bought in Oban, Craignure, Salen, Bunessan and Tobermory.
